This qualification builds essential knowledge in three critical areas:
- Safeguarding
- Prevent Duty
- Online safety
It gives a clear understanding of legal responsibilities, how to recognise risk or abuse, and the right way to respond. Knowledge only, no workplace assessment required.
Assessment can be through a portfolio or multiple-choice test.

Critical questioning online — who, what, why
Spotting concerning behaviour or changes in someone affected
