Course Overview

This apprenticeship develops practitioners who act as a social and environmental conscience within organisations, helping to drive responsible business practices and sustainable change.

You will build the knowledge and skills needed to deliver corporate responsibility and sustainability initiatives that are embedded into everyday business activity. The programme focuses on social impact, environmental responsibility, ethical governance, stakeholder engagement and risk management.

By the end of the apprenticeship, you will be confidently supporting organisations to deliver meaningful social and environmental outcomes while protecting reputation, managing risk and strengthening long term performance.

Role Overview

As a Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Practitioner, you will:

  • Support delivery of the organisation’s CR&S strategy

  • Act as an advocate for social and environmental responsibility

  • Embed ethical practices into everyday business operations

  • Work with internal teams and external partners to drive impact

  • Manage CR&S projects, campaigns and events

  • Collect and analyse CR&S data for reporting and compliance

  • Identify and manage social and environmental risks

  • Champion responsible business culture across the organisation

The role is varied, non routine and often spans multiple initiatives, stakeholders and focus areas including sustainability, ESG, diversity, wellbeing, human rights and community engagement.
